This policy explains what we collect when you enquire, book or dive with Aqua Nomads, why we hold it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers this website and every form on it.
What we collect
- What you tell us in a form. Your name, email address, phone number, postal code, the dates you are looking at, how many divers you are, whether you are already certified, and whatever you write in the message box.
- What a booking needs. Once a dive is confirmed we hold your certification agency and level, your last dive date, and the medical declaration every diver signs. Medical answers are held for one reason only: so the dive team can dive you safely.
- What the website records. The page an enquiry was sent from and the IP address it came from, so we can answer you in context and block abuse of the form.
Why we hold it
To answer your enquiry, to run the dive you booked, to meet the safety and record-keeping obligations a dive centre has, and to contact you about a trip you asked about. We do not sell your details, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you sent an enquiry - the newsletter is a separate box you tick yourself.
Who else sees it
Only the people who need it: our dive staff, our booking desk, and the service providers who run our email, hosting and payments on our behalf. Where a dive requires it - a marine park permit, a boat manifest, a chamber referral - we share the minimum the authority asks for. We do not pass your data to anyone else for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that never become bookings are kept for two years and then deleted. Dive records and medical declarations are kept for the period Indian law and our insurers require, because they are the record of a dive that took place. You can ask us to delete anything we are not obliged to keep.
Cookies
This site uses only the cookies it needs to work - keeping your session and keeping forms secure. If we ever add analytics or advertising cookies, this page will say so before they are switched on.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent to marketing at any time. Email us and we will reply within thirty days. If you are not satisfied with our answer you can escalate it to the relevant data protection authority.

We update this page when what we do changes, and the date shown on it is the date it was last edited.
